Very cool interface for Chess programs, it'll also work as a client for playing
Chess online at places like FIC (& many others), you can also play games between
2 different Winboard programs (engines) and Winboard will run them
automatically.  Winboard is not a flashy program, it looks VERY basic, but it's
very versatile, and nobody has come even close (IMO) to coming up with a
replacement for it.

For what it's worth, Deep Blue was interfaced through Winboard's predecessor
Xboard, they both look about the same.
