Well, I can think of at last two possibilities. The first one is that the person
you was facing was outbooking Tiger. This is not difficult to do at all, also
because Tiger has not yet the patch to overlook this. I have currently created a
personal book for Tiger (using the book editor) to avoid this. It seems to work
pretty well, at last from mine experiments.

The second possibility is this: the Java board on Yahoo takes much processor
resources, also if it doesn't seem so. Fritz doesn't mind too much, but
Chesspartner yes. For example, if you run the Fritz Gui and the Chesspartner one
with one processor and with permanent brain on you will see this. Tiger lose
many nodes (in many occasions), Fritz not that much.
