Nothing ; instead it seems you found an ERT or adapter bug . I can reproduce it.
Looking at the end of the pgn suggests Shredder reports the mating move in a way
ERT doesn't recognize but that's only a wild guess .
I'd suggest to report your findings to support@lokasoft.nl so that ERT 0.4 beta
will behave better .
Nevertheless it seems Shredder is working under the adapter and ERT now for you
at last ; only thing to do after a match series is to check on the final
positions and change the results to the proper ones .
I started a 70-games 5-minutes-blitz match Shredder 3 - Gambit Tiger 1.0 in the
morning and will look at the results tonight.
ERT seems to run very stable and already at this beta stage it is a huge
improvement over manual games , isn't it ?
I personally prefer it over Auto232 for various reasons .
To your engineext.bak : I propose to now take entry by entry and check them
before putting them in your engineext.ini again . I wished the adapter would
simply ignore invalid entries but it obviously doesn't . The entry you now have
for Shredder works for most Winboard engines that run under the adapter so it is
a good starting point ; a list of tested engines is at
http://www.lokasoft.nl/uk/winboard_engines.htm . It is far from complete and
will probably be updated soon : one more for the list of working ones currently
is Bringer 1.7 ( same settings as you have for Shredder ) and Yace 0.23 works ,
too , although there are some minor problems still .
