Subject: Somewhat off topic...NIC problem

 Hello,

  I recently installed NIC cards in my two computers at home to help tranfer
chess files etc.... I can ping each computer by name and IP. I have Client for
Microsoft Networks, TCP/ip/ Net BEUI and file sharing enabled in properties. I
can access my proxy server thru HTTP ports but only if the file(s) is smaller
than 20K.I also cannot tranfer any files >10k. It will begin tranferring and
then the computers will freeze up. The problem I think is that The Proxy server
NIC is sharing the same IRQ as the AGP video card(Plug and pray!!) Does anyone
know of a client I can use to change IRQ settings thru software? There is only
one option under the resource tab( IRQ 11) so I cant change it there.
