Sorry Dan, but Donniger used both alpha-beta and queisent searching in Minimax. Minimax is written in Basic and it runs perfectly in QBasic as well as other forms of the language. On playing strenght, it is about on par with Tom's TSCP. I have the source both in German and a translated version in English. Bill
