Well, I don't know much about chess engines and the only one I own is CM 6000, it seems that the Fritz's only use a few specific openings. Isn't there a way to edit Tiger's book and change the line to a more sensible one? So instead of the program teaching itself, you would have to teach it manually, but, it seems that would make sense. Does it, or am I showing my clueless-ness on the subject? Also, I know that the designers of Chess Tiger aren't going to release a perfect version immune to problems like this, and it would be pointless for them to test for problems that might not even be there when instead they can wait and see if problems do develop and then just get a free patch released.
