You are absolutly right! I looked at it again (and stripped somewhat off the analysis): 33...Qd4 34.h4 Rxc3 35.Kh2 [35.Re1? h5 36.Kf1 Ra3 37.g3 Ra1 38.gxf4 Rxd1 39.Rxd1 Qxd1+ 40.Kg2 Qg4+ 41.Kf1 Qxf4 42.Qxf4 exf4-+] 35...Qxd1 36.Rxc3 Ne2 37.Qxe5 Qg1+ 38.Kh3 Qh1+ 39.Kg4 Qxg2+ [39...Nxc3 40.Qb8+ Kg7 41.Qe5+=] 40.Rg3 h5+ [40...Nxg3 41.Qb8+ Kg7 42.Qe5+=] 41.Kg5 Nxg3 42.Kh6 [42.fxg3? Qxc2 and now black has h7 to avoid perpetual chess. ] 42...Kf8 43.Qb8+ Ke7 44.Qxb7+ Ke6= I dropped that line because after a somewhat forced sequence I oversaw 42.Kh6! which takes h7 from the black king to avoid perpetual chess. Basically h5 takes care of that but Kh6 is a real pain in the ass. Jeroen ;-}
