Great idea!

I bet it would be easier to devise a program to target tactical exercises at a
human's weaknesses, based on the human's performance on past exercises, than to
write a whole chess program from scratch.

Many people have done the latter, so maybe it's time for somebody to do the
former?  I'd buy it!
