I suggest the following experiment: From my FTP site, in this directory: ftp://cap.connx.com/pub/chess-engines/new-approach/ Get the following files Crafty1.exe Yace023.exe Phalanxf.exe Amy.exe ExChess4.exe And from here: http://www.btinternet.com/~tom_king/ get both versions of Francesca And from here: http://nejmet.multimania.com/ Get the latest version of Nejmet. Run those 8 programs against TAO, obtained from here: http://amateurschach.in-trier.de/schach/download/tao/tao_44.zip Run four game matches between each pair. The games should be G/60 or slower and on PII 300 MHz or faster machines. I will be willing to run some of the games, and perhaps we can coordinate a new contest of some sort.
