Indeed ,a great event for computer chess fans. The term "anti-computer"
is becoming more blurred in my view. Van der Wiel is simply outplaying Rebel in
these games. He is looking for opportunities to trade his bad minor pieces for
Rebel's strong ones. In this sense it could be called anti computer as gm's
knowledge of the shifting values of minor pieces must be better than a programs.
Or it could also be interpretted as just good chess moves, regardless of the
opponent.

I would like to see after the match, some extended comments and analysis by Van
der Wiel. Here, Jame's question, "how would he play differently against a human"
would be informative - perhaps choice of opening?.I have not purchased a chess
book in many years but would not hesitate to buy a book by Van der Wiel,
annotating computer vs Human games at serious time controls.
