You could use an FTP client for easier handling. http://www.ipswitch.com/Support/year2000/ws_ftp-le.html is a free FTP-client. Download and install, open it, click on "connect", choose "new" and fill in the following: profile name: R. Hyatt ftp-server (just a suggestion) Host name/Address: ftp.cis.uab.edu Host type: automatic detect User type: anonymous (also check the "anonymous" checkbox) and leave the rest for what it is. Now click on the tab "startup" choose a remote directory: pub/hyatt (or: pub/hyatt/tb ) choose your local dowload directory (any on your HD) and now click okay. Now you'll be connecting to the server. By navigating the directories and simply clicking the files (or selecting them and downloading them at once through the interface, whatever) you won't have to deal with some browser limitations. Of course there are more freeware FTP-clients, I just chose this one as one example I know. You also have http://www.coffeecup.com freeware FTP-client but it seems the last version (or new version) will be spyware. Forget it. :( Good luck anyhow. Jeroen ;-}
