It's weaker. Also note that this program had been tested on a 80386-16SX. I cannot exclude that the engine could get some problem on a modern machine. Its move stack might overflow when doing a search of 12 iterations. But I don't really know. On the above hardware I had "guesstimated" an ELO of 1950. This could probably extrapolate to a value above 2200 on a modern PC provided everything still works. Uli
