Hi, just got my new Cm 8000. The first i saw. The gui is extremely slow. My Comp is Athlon 650 with 384 MB Ram. I use Win ME and my Comp/System etc. is installed good and runs fast. But the gui of CM 8000 ... :-( Then i saw, pondering is on. Certainly, it slows down the system, but much more than in Cm 6000 or 7000. Then i tried to turn off pondering. I made a new personality with turned off Pondering. No effect! If i rerun CM 8000, and use my new personality, CM ignores and pondering is on! Then, the time settings. I know there is a bug and a patch will come. But also if i use time/move , ex. 60 sec per move, CM plays out the moves within 1 or 2 seconds. Is there any Time-setting, which runs??? There are users here, who plays out CM 8000 against other progs. Which time settings they use. I dont see any, which runs well. At last, the sound! Only Spoken sounds is running. If i set to other sounds, i hear nothing! Sorry but this moment its not nice to use Chessmaster 8000 Hope someone can help me. This moment
