I understood it.
I did not think that you meant to say "I am sure".

I admit that using the words "the truth "believes"" as a reply to "I believe"
was something against using the words I believe.

People usually use "I believe" for things that cannot be checked at the time of
posting(for example people can say that they believe that Rebel will lose the
match against van der Wiel).

I believe you that you believed that the games at Dortmund had a faster time
control but it is better not to use "I believe" for things that can be checked
and to check them or to ask a question about them(otherwise people may use it in
the future for saying bad things about people).
