Crafty17.14 also see similiar difference 1)After g3 the best is Rd5 evaluation 0.63/15(needed almost 3 hours to finish iteration 15) 2)After Ne2 the best is Rxd2 evaluation 0.41/15(needed less than 1/2 hour to finish iteration 15) 3)After h3 the best is Rd5 evaluation 0.63/14(I did not give it enough time to finish depth 15). Crafty does not like the option Ne2 Rxd2 Qxd2 Qa1+ Nc1 Qe5 and evaluates it as better for black but I think that white has nothing better. I guess that it is a draw after Ne2 but I am not 100% sure about it and it is clear that if someone can win it is only black. I think that Ne2 is better than other moves because white needs to trade pieces in order to prevent a king attack. Uri
