just one or two clarifications if possible-
1) What is Hiarcs XY?
2) Are they all done with latest patches? (and not the upcoming patch for
Tiger)?
3)Was Deep Fritz done on a singal proccessor?

I would also wonder why Shredder 5.0 did so badly. Although I believe it could
have been possible for Shredder 5.0 and Chess Tiger 13 to change places, as CT13
still seems to have some weaknesses according to some experiments (like certain
settings from, if I remember correctly, Fritz 6a), but the upcoming patch may
leave it at top place for all the coming year, because, when weaknesses are
corected, at this level, it's increasingly harder to find and exploit further
smaller weaknesses. And if Hiarcs XY is a test version, it hasn't been developed
properly yet. Maybe It hasn't been easy to improve upon Hiarcs 7.---, hence all
the delays.
