Hello group, I was just visiting Frank Quinsky's website and he has Gandalf listed as the strongest Winboard engine available at 2650 ELO. If I bought this program for Winboard and used it as a bot account at FICS would I be able to plug-in a strong opening book and Nalimov ?? Also, I am wondering if Mr. Quinsky's rating is accurate, he rates Crafty at 2550 ELO, this would make Gandalf approximately the same strength as Fritz 6a. I have no idea what Mr. Quinsky or anybody else would rate Shredder these days, it seems rather untested, wouldn't you say ?! I am trying to get onto GambitSoft's website but the server appears down, if someone knows their email address they may wish to send them an email and notify them. Thx
