No definitive answer , but one of a thousand data points of light ...
30 games played , at Game / 30 mins
ChessGenius 1.2 running on a handspring visor prism at 33 MHz
Fidelity Mach III engine , rated 1993 SSDF
Mach III wins 16.5 - 13.5 going +14 -11 =5
Revenge Match already underway. These games will be at Game/5mins
which may tend to favor CG ??? Don't remember , was Mach III noted for
blitz ability like Lang's programs ??
The visor engine will be overclocked to 45 MHz also.
So far 10 games , ChessGenius/45Mhz = +5 -3 =2
Here's a crushing win for the rookie.
