Chessmaster6000 , cheap and good : I think there is nothing better for training
purposes for low-rated players so far afaik .

LOL ; seems you are not _that_ new to the chessprogram world . In fact I thought
it was kind of strange that Chessmaster 8000 implemented Winboard protocol now
with just the same suspicions you indirectly implied , too : every Winboard
engine programmer might end as the new Chessmaster 9000 author now :-) .
