Vile creatures, actually. I encounter them all the time in Yahoo, and to a lesser extent in Pogo/Excite, and they indeed make capital punishment seem like a worthwhile endeavor. Fortunately, insofar as Yahoo is concerned, most of the pulsating mass of putrid slime there are ignorant as to the variety of programs and avail themselves of either Fritz6 or Chessmaster 6000/7000. It is rare indeed to find another player using Tiger 13. In fact, I have only encountered one other player who uses Shredder, and no one uses Hiarcs 732 or Nimzo 732/8. In conclusion, if you wish to "test" Tiger 12/13 against non Tiger programs, I suggest you visit either Yahoo or Pogo/Excite, where the level of computer program sophistication is at a par with the bacteria in yesterday's trash.
