Yes

I expect Gambittiger to score better because Gmabittiger beated Shredder5 12-8
in Enrique's tournament.

20-4 against Crafty suggest that the GUI is the problem because the difference
between Crafty and the top programs is smaller than 20-4 and shredder is not
known to be a good program at blitz(the claim of the autor of the opening book
is that the book was done to help shredder at longer time control)

I think that the result suggests that the shredder interface is not good for
crafty.

It is not a proof because it is possible that Crafty was unlucky but I tend to
believe based on other posts that the shredder interface is bad for winboard
engines(I read that it caused gandalf to clear the hash tables so I guess that
it does the same for crafty)
