Yes I expect Gambittiger to score better because Gmabittiger beated Shredder5 12-8 in Enrique's tournament. 20-4 against Crafty suggest that the GUI is the problem because the difference between Crafty and the top programs is smaller than 20-4 and shredder is not known to be a good program at blitz(the claim of the autor of the opening book is that the book was done to help shredder at longer time control) I think that the result suggests that the shredder interface is not good for crafty. It is not a proof because it is possible that Crafty was unlucky but I tend to believe based on other posts that the shredder interface is bad for winboard engines(I read that it caused gandalf to clear the hash tables so I guess that it does the same for crafty) Uri
