I only want to complete my previous reply to you, so I've snipped almost
everything.

Here was the documentation of the "new", "force", "send movelist", etc. from
http://www.chessbase.com/Products/engines/winboard/tech.htm

Thank you.

With regard to Chessbase:
I understand that you are in the UNIX world, and very busy. But I am surprised
that you appear to have forgotten about the above. When the matter first became
known, some two years ago (?), there were long threads about it here and in the
(formerly useable) rgcc. I believe your crafty CB native engine is working right
now, but when Fritz5(?) or Fritz5.32(?) first came out with the "engine
research" feature, and this was trumpeted a great deal of course, the first
crafty engine you provided to them(?), or authorized them to use(?), I don't
remember the exact details, wasn't running right. Someone noticed that it was
restarting it's thinking every move, even in extreme time trouble! Then, when
the above became fully known and admitted, after much argumentation and testing,
I clearly remember you posting that you "WERE NOT AWARE" of these injuries
inflicted upon Crafty! That was one of the reasons, along with the humiliation
suffered by HIARCS6.eng, that I became so incensed about this matter.

With regard to the Shredder GUI:
If it is shown that the Shredder GUI does these same things, I think the case
will have been made. I think others have posted that it does.

With regard to Lokasoft and Lex Loep:
It appears that he has done it right with the ERT beta.
He deserves full recognition and gratitude for this. And trust.
