There were two different interfaces from ChessBase. One was the fritz GUI.
The other was the winboard adapter they did.  I knew one started off broken
(I think it was the f5 GUI).  I also believe that this was fixed pretty
quickly when it became known...

Since I don't personally use the F5 gui at all, nor the winboard adapter, I
never had any real info.  I was sent lots of stuff by users that pretty well
proved it was initially broken, and then later more stuff that showed it had
been repaired and worked normally...
