That is about the worst implementation of anything I have seen.  I suppose it
is possible to fix this inside the engine...  by reading all the "new" "force"
"moves" and noticing that nothing is being changed by that stuff.  It would be
a kludge to do this of course, and I can't believe software is written to do
this "new/force/etc" stuff every move, in the first place.
