Yes, thanks Bob. When I said it allows pondering to continue to work normal I meant that when the opponents move is received there is no "new" command. That allows Crafty to continue it's search at that point without starting over. I think this is exactly what Chessbase did originally. Hard to believe someone else would copy this after all the debate that went on back when that happened. Jim
