This new computer came with Windows ME installed on it, and I have not had any
conflicts with any Chess programs yet. Winboard runs just fine, same with
Junior6, and I didn't have to use Steve's T-notes fix. So far all of my
Winboard engines have worked without conflict, but admitedly there aren't many
yet (I plan to keep it that way). So, I don't have Tiger, but there are no
Chess program problems that I know of.

BUT, there's no question in my mind that this is the worst OS that MS has ever
put out. It's bloatware to an extreme, and it doesn't even run some of their
OWN programs that were designed for Windows 98 but came loaded on the computer.
It's more crap fromMicrosoft that they released at least a year before they had
a ready product.

If you got Windows98 and you're thinking of upgrading to Windows ME, it's a very
bad idea IMO.
