I first would like to say I'm not here to complain, enough has been done
already in regard to CM8K. I do have some observations and questions should
anyone care to read. I haven't been able to build a book larger than 128kb. I
think that's the upper limit with the CM8K supplied PGN-to-book tool. I observe
that Mentor and Reference books are larger than this but I suspect that is
because they have embedded commentary, not to mention they likely were made with
other tools.

I have made a book from PGN with games rated 2641 and above (both players).
Some might consider this OK, some may not. Some of the Ultimate book questions
might be:
1.Should all the supplied lines extend to blacks 15th move? This "appears" to be
the upper limit, at least as far as what I can see displayed. Perhaps even with
good rated games the damage may have already been dealt by this time. A good
book would stop short of this point. The experienced book-maker would know more
than I.
2.Would your "Ultimate" book be tuned to provide Pro-Chess-Engine moves, play
most common lines (modern and historical), or only the modern undisputed lines?

I'm sure there are more considerations but answers to these would be a start to
building your "Ultimate" book, which might not be ideal for some other purpose
or person.
