I was given this for Christmas. I checked through my games and also some of the opponents I am now playing. Starbase seems as accurate as the more expensive products. I found no more duplicates and no more errors than anywhere else. Considering the price I think it's a pretty good value. What it's missing is annotated games. I think this is pretty important. One good high-quality well-annotated can be more useful for study than many casually played games between lesser rated players. If you can afford both, I think Starbase is a good supplement to more intensive databases such as from Informants or Chessbase magazine.
