There are a number of dire warnings in the CM8000 documentation that state the CD should always be used when using the program, or else it would behave erratically. However, I have been able to play without the disk (I did the full install, including all the multimedia options)) and have not noticed any problems. With CM7000, if you started the program without the disk, and explicit message would appear saying you have a certain number of uses left before the disk would be required. Does anyone know anything else about this issue? Why was the change made from CM7000 to 8000 and is there really any need to use the disk with 8000? thanks, Marc
