Hello Mark,
I don't know about that.  I do know that Fritz can be set up to play against
opponents on ICC/FICS.   I have done it on FICS using a computer account as an
experiment.  I don't know how to make it monitor your moves without making the
moves again on the Fritz/miniFritz board.  I suspect it can be done but I have
not tried.  It can be done with some of the Chesspartner GUIs using Chess Tiger
or any other program that runs in the CP GUI.
