Georg,

It is hard to find a good book about chess programming nowadays. I suggest that
you try one book titled "Scalable Search in Computer Chess" by Ernst A. Heinz
available at http://supertech.lcs.mit.edu/~heinz/node1.html. The book is
expensive. :-(

Currently I study Visual C++ 6 programming and I plan to become a windows chess
programmer in the future.

Good luck.

Eran
