I suggest that you try one book titled "Scalable Search in Computer Chess" by Ernst A. Heinz available at http://supertech.lcs.mit.edu/~heinz/node1.html. The book is expensive. :-( Currently I study Visual C++ 6 programming and I plan to become a windows chess programmer in the future. Good luck. Eran
