Hi Dann, I can't help it, sorry, it has nothing to do with the subject, but I just played 10 blitz matches (5/0) against it with my Tao engine: 8 wins for Tao and 2 draws. Very interesting crushing king attacks that remind of Diep, which style I admire. I don't know if I made my engine stronger, but it surely plays more interesting. Even the very strong later Crafties beat the dust regularly. I got bored playing the typical computer games, the tedious waiting for who creates a freepawn first and promotes it after 108 moves. Could I ask you, as a compiler wizard, to squeeze a factor 2 or so speedwise out of my extremely slow CBuilder executable? Ciao! Bas.
