I have just started another big computer chess tournament, and with a
little "sponsoring" from a local software developer, it will finally be
played on two independent machines! (Yippieehh!)
Time control is 40/120 on P6-200, 64 MB RAM.
Participants:
Hiarcs 6 (Fritz-engine)
Rebel 8 & 9
MChess 5 & 7
Genius 5
Junior 4.6 (not yet arrived)
Chessmaster 5500 (WP-settings)
Fritz 5
Shredder II (not yet arrived)
Crafty 12.6
Crafty 14.8
Comet A.83
This is a knockout tournament similar to the human WC 97/98.
Therefore, in all my modesty, I call it "World Championship 98" :-).
