Very good job, it plays very well. I noticed an account on ICC called Queen(C), is that yours? And, how long have you been working on it? A couple of comments. I liked your gui, nice board, resizing window and straightforward commands. Lots of useful features, incl fen load/save. One thing to add would be a display of the pv while the program is thinking. And put the pv-score display in a better place. As for the winboard version, it bombs when attempting to resume a game on ICC. Also, I noticed that winboard displays a message at the end of a game showing who won. This also prevents another game from starting. Is this a normal winboard feature? I put Queen on one of my test accounts and played a few games against Amateur. It plays a remarkably good game. I noticed it seems to use a bit too much time early on, so that even in the middlegame it can run short of time (3 2 time control). If it has a weakness, it may be in king-safety, and also not extending checks enough. Thanks for telling us about your program! Will
