I use an attackboard and a piece array of length 32, the piece array has in it a
32 bit word where 16 bits are the same as for the attackboard values for the
opposite colored pieces the oter 16 bits are the cases where same colored
pieces. That makes it simple to find out what pieces need to update attacking
squares. And relatively simple to figure out x-rays. They can be set as values
in the piece array. With a litte figuring one can then compute cheap king
safety, SEE and MVD/LVA values.
