I see your points, however I feel the aforementioned in all reality would not be
any real problem. In fact it would free up space when people no matter how
careful, occasionally make errors hit the " Submit Button " and are stuck with
it. As it bieng dangerous, that sounds silly to me.
I've posted on a few BB's and many use  " Delete Post " with no serious
consequences:)
