Also in a 24 game match it's impossible to separate 2 engines as closely rated as the two Fritz engines. As I said before in my first 82 game match vs Chess Tiger 13.0 the new Fritz did better than any other version before. I just finished a 50 game match vs Junior 6. Fritz 6e won 27.5 - 22.5. So of course it's not a major step up in strength (for free) but I believe it may be a small improvement. Only many more games will tell. Also testing an engine against itself is my last option since I'm more interested in how it performs against the other top programs. Jim
