Maybe it has a few small improvements, and they want to thereby get people
interested in still buying Fritz6a, before they let out Fritz 7 with bigger
improvements. It also might serve to make everyone
(e.g. here) into beta testers, 6e being a beta to Fritz 7.0-by giving it free at
this stage. If not for these two reasons, I can't think why they should be doing
this now.
