Yes,

I came to the same, and avoid this whole thread for the most part (I read here a
lot but do not post much, I am completing Ph.D sometime this summer).

Programs are GM (2500 is GM level and 2525 is average GM rating) and above 2600
on 1GHZ (or faster machines).  Been above 2500 average rating since 500MHZ
machines came out and have some single match ratings in high 2500's to 2600 on
300MHZ machines.
