That's essentially correct, I think.  Crafty, for example, front-loads its time.
 So does mine.  However, in the case of Queen, it uses far too much time early
on, leaving itself with little time in the middlegame.

I believe Queen is a pretty strong program, and with a few fixes will easily
surpass my program, plus a few others.
