Several humans games are drawn when somebody is winning only because that player only needs half point to achieve certain goal (it can be the first place in the tournament, a GM or IM norm or whatever). You do not see those players claiming a win afterwards for rating purposes. It is higly likely that GM van der Wiel would offer or accept a draw if the roles were reversed. José.
