You are right. I first wanted to highlight the fact that I like DOS when
it is used with a DOS extender.
I like it, and I work with it since 14 years. I know there are bad
things about DOS, but you can understand I'm a little bit nervous when
somebody says he won't use a program just because it's a DOS program.
Of course there are better OS, and from a professional point of view,
DOS is not the platform you want to develop for.
I view DOS as a very useful laboratory. You don't need a powerful PC to
run it, and it gives you access to every machine resource. And I know I
can go anywhere in the world, find a PC, install 4 floppies, and start
working on my program. And it's useful for me, because I often have to
travel for my job.

I understand your point of view. If you mostly use UNIX, a DOS program
is not a great value for you.
I understand that you prefer WinNT. Personnaly I don't use DOS alone.
I'm using Win95.
I suppose you could run Crafy's DOS version inside a WinNT DOS box?
Well, I'm not sure, because of the 32 bits DOS extender the GnuC uses.

Thanks. I still don't know on which hardware Zugzwang was running. Tiger
was running on P2-266 (provided by the Paderborn University).
