I dont know why, but all the time I try to analyse the game bellow, Shredder goes until move 26.. Rbf5 and keep there for an infinite time analysing the same position. In fact, using a time control like 30 sec/move, my Shredder spent at most 1 hour in the position 26.. Rbf5, then I stopped the game analysis. Here is the game: 1. e4 c5 2. d3 Nc6 3. g3 g6 4. Bg2 Bg7 5. f4 d6 6. Nf3 e6 7. c3 Nge7 8. O-O O-O 9. h3 f5 10. Be3 c4 11. Bf2 cxd3 12. Qxd3 fxe4 13. Qxe4 Nf5 14. Nbd2 Bd7 15. Rad1 Qe7 16. Nc4 Rad8 17. Ne3 Nxe3 18. Bxe3 Rf5 19. Rfe1 Ra5 20. a3 Rb5 21. Qc2 Rf8 22. Bf2 Rff5 23. Re2 a6 24. Rde1 Rf8 25. Ng5 Nd8 26. Nf3 Rbf5 27. Nd4 R5f6 28. Qb3 Bc8 29. Kh2 Kh8 1/2-1/2 Notebook: Tecra 8000, 128 MbRAM, Windows 98 Shredder 5 (SP1) Please, could you analyse this game in your Shredder 5 ? The time control can be 30 sec/move or 1 Min/move.
