First, I am the person that _wrote_ Crafty. Eugene contributed some assembly code to make it faster, and he contributed the EGTB stuff as well, although this is now used in _many_ engines and not just in Crafty. Dann has done the CAP stuff and contributed many ideas to the Crafty project. Both of them compile the executables. The ones on my ftp site are compiled by Eugene. Hope that helps..
