Hello,

if you want to beat the beast, why not just apply the FIDE laws of chess. It
should be that easy. I mean articles 12.2 and 12.7 (13.4 may be used, but then
you need an arbiter). Fritz uses hashtables and opening libraries, i.e. notes
and "sources of information" and that is against 12.2. Therefore it loses the
game according to 12.7. That might be the working political strategy.

If you want to beat it by playing, just make it follow the rules by turning the
libraries and hashtables off. I haven't tried it, but it probably works. If not,
just get back to the political solution :)
