i suspect that you do not have a version conflict. i suspect that if you try
different versions, using the latest updates, you will still have your "invalid
page fault in module mfc42.dll". but you can try that, it did not work for my
"fritz6 caused an invalid page fault in module mfc42.dll".   good luck with this
common problem.
