It is written by Stefan Meyer-Kahlen (Shredder) and is freeware. This driver is build in Shredder 2 and in Nimzo 98. It is also possible to use the Chess 232-PC-board. I think it should be also possible the get the Dos-protocol from GambitSoft. For the Smartboard you should ask Tasc directly. They told me, that they build something like a protocoll wich programmers simply can include in theire chessprograms. I don't know if this is true, but it is worth a try. When you need some help for testing your connection to the Auto232, Chess 232 or Smartboard feel free to contact me. Best Greetings, Hannu Wegner
