I hope Lex will answer more accurately to this, but my guess is that it has to
do with registering the engine DLLs.
These "DLL" (programs) are "registered" when you install the product (the
installation program tells Windows that these modules have just been installed),
and this information is written in the evil Windows "registry".
If your Windows registry is corrupted by something (who knows what), then the
programs (engines) can appear to be missing.
I think this problem can be easily solved by re-installing Rebel-Tiger II.
