By the way Robert,

I downloaded your Crafty source code 2 years ago and looked at it. I saw how
you used macros in that version and adopted it as a programming style due to the
speed benefits. I just recently downloaded the source for Crafty 18 and was
impressed with your move generation code. Your bitmaps and mine look to be very
similar even though I never saw crafty's or anyones source code. It looks like
your move generation code would fit into my program with very little
modification. I am currently getting about 2,200,000 generate/make/unmakes a
second on my Pentium III 550Mhz xeon processor. I am pushing for the 3,000,000
moves per second mark and would like to try your move generation code in my
MinMax (like your perft) code to see how it does.

Would you mind if I used your move generation code in my program?

Larry.
