You have been away for a marathon absence (or should I say triathelon) so you haven't kept up with the latest 'theory' of chess program operation. :) This is a known problem. John Merlino, of the CM8000 software development team, has replied many times on this bulletin board that this is known and is already fixed in the patch that will be out in a few more weeks (approx 3-4, per his prior comments, I think). A list of all the known bugs that are in the patch has been posted by John Merlino, somewhere below, over the past few weeks. I have recently posted a few more deficiencies to take a look at--I hope they will be fixed also in the patch, but don't know. Take care, and be patient or you'll become a patient. --Steve
